What you provide

When you apply, we collect your business name, category, city, description, website or social link, billing email, and any optional business phone number or logo. We use this information to process your application, review the listing, contact you, and operate your subscription.

Stripe handles payment entry and billing. Cerney Selects receives payment and subscription records needed to confirm payment, manage a subscription, and issue a refund. Payment card numbers are entered with Stripe, not in the Cerney Selects application form.

Public listing and private records

If approved, your business name, category, city, description, website, and any supplied business phone or logo appear in the public directory. Your billing email, payment records, and review decision records are not included in the public directory.

Chris receives your business details and billing email to review the application. An application does not appear in the directory before approval. Uploaded logos are stored with download links; anyone who has a logo’s download link can view that image, including before a listing is approved. Only upload an image you are authorized to share publicly.

Services used to run Cerney Selects

• Stripe processes payments, subscriptions, billing portal access, and refunds.
• Google Firebase and Google Cloud store uploaded logos, application and review records, and processing records used to complete or retry a review, refund, or email.
• Resend sends application confirmations, review decisions, and owner review notifications. It receives the recipient address and message contents needed to send those emails.
• Vercel hosts the website and its application endpoints. Requests to the site include technical information such as IP address, browser information, and requested pages.

Cerney Selects pages load fonts from Google Fonts. A listing may load a logo from the business’s chosen image host. Following a business link opens that business’s website or social page, where its own privacy practices apply.

Cookies and information on your device

After checkout starts, a secure cookie connects that browser to its application and billing controls. The application form also uses browser session storage for a draft and a checkout request identifier, so a temporary interruption is less likely to lose your work or repeat a request. Private previews and owner administration use separate sign-in cookies.

“Forget this device” on the application page removes this browser’s saved access and application draft; it does not cancel billing or delete the application and payment records held by the service. You can also clear this site’s data in your browser. On another device, use the billing email sign-in link or contact Chris for help.

Questions and corrections

For a listing correction, a question about stored information, or a request to remove information, email cerneymedia@gmail.com. Include the business name and send from the billing email when possible. We may need to confirm that you are authorized to make the request. Removing a public listing or browser access does not by itself erase payment, review, or delivery records.

Optional member requests

Paid members can ask about additional promotional services. We privately store the requested service, specialty, coverage area, notes, billing email, and confirmation delivery records in Google Cloud. Chris receives the request, and Resend sends confirmation emails. Request details do not appear in the public directory. A request alone does not authorize an extra charge or reserve an exclusive position.
